10 OPPAS WHO ARE GETTING ENLISTED IN ARMY THIS 2K17
Anyoung haseo chingus!! I think the toughest phase for any fangirl is when her favorite Oppa gets a call from #army. So we all know that mandatory military enlistment is a natural thing for the oriental countries like Korea, Japan and China etc. But still who will understand the pain of these fangirls' hearts!! The only thing we can do is to cheer for our oppas unconditionally and shower them with our love and support with which they can easily pass through all the hardships and severe training for all those two years. And I think this year's list is the disastrous one as it is having almost all the top actors and idols .So below is the list of the South Korean actors who are getting enlisted in army this year.
1. JI CHANG WOOK
BORN- 23rd July, 1987
Our Healer who rose to fame after the series "Smile Again" has done many iconic roles in dramas like "Empress Ki", "Healer", "The K2" is now all set to go serve the army. Now a days, he is being seen in the romcom thriller "Suspicious Partner". After the drama ends , Ji will be in the army for the next two years.
2. JOO WON
BORN- 30th September, 1987
This actor has a great number of fans both Koreans as well as international. Rose in popularity with shows like "King of Baking", "Good Doctor", "Yong Pal" ," Bridal Mask" etc., Joo Won became a household name in South Korean households. He will be joining the army on 16th of May 2017. He was working on his current drama "My Sassy Girl" which is a historical drama adaption of the famous movie of the same name. So the drama is a pre filmed one and will be aired after his enlistment.
Well it will be like a healing treatment for his fans who can watch his drama when they miss him.
3. KIM SOO HYUN
BORN- 16th February, 1988
Doing the debut in 2007 with a supporting role in the sitcom called "Kimchi Cheese Smile", Kim Soo Hyun's acting growth has been seen by everyone. He rose to fame from the musical drama "Dream high" where his effort story was appreciated all over Korea. Apart from that some of his famous works are "My Love from Another Star", "Moon Embracing The Sun"," Producers". He has also acted fab in movies like "Thieves", "Secretly, Greatly".
He will be joining his mandatory army services giving up his celebrity lifestyle right after his much awaited movie "Real" premieres.
4. SUPER JUNIOR'S KYUHYUN
BORN- 3rd February, 1988
Kyuhyun is the last member to be enlisted in army on 25th of May while other members like Donghae, Siwon and Eunhyuk, who enlisted in 2015, will finish their military duties later this year and return to their adoring fans. Ryeowook, on the other hand, enlisted late last year and is expected to be back in 2018.
The idol star will leave his MC position from "Radio Star" and the replacement is still not announced.
5. 2PM'S TAECYEON
BORN- 27th December, 1988
Now Taecyeon has a great story behind his army enlistment. In 2010, he actively wanted to serve in the army but couldn't because of his permanent citizenship status in the US. Then he gave up on his citizenship and got operated to fix everything like back surgery in 2013 and eye correction in 2016 to make sure that he is perfectly fit n fine to carry out his duties as an active soldier.
Although the enlistment date has not been confirmed yet ,but Ok will be serving as a public service officer due to his slipped disk. The Singer-Actor was last seen in his movie "House of the Disappeared" and drama "Let's Fight Ghost".
6. YOO AH IN
BORN- 6th October,1986
Yoo Ah In became popular from the drama " Sungkyunkwan Scandal", and became best known for his leading roles in coming-of-age film "Punch", melodrama "Secret Love Affair" etc.Previously the actor was diagnosed with a bone tumour for which he needed to delay his enlistment. However the date has not been confirmed yet as its an unique case and the military is taking time to take the best decission. Currently he is in the drama " Chicago Typewriters".
7. G-DRAGON
BORN- 18th August, 1988
While the famous boyband Big Bang is showing so much of success, but their career may come to a screeching halt when the members GD, TOP, Taeyang, Deasung and Seungri get enlisted in army.
GD has already accepted his fate and is ready to serve in army whenever the time comes. Being the fashion icon he is launching his own clothline "Peaceminusone" and keeping himself busy for his solo album.
8. KIM HYUNG JUN
BORN- 3rd August, 1987
This former SS501 member has already joined the mandatory military services this 6th April as a conscripted policeman. Kim successfully wrapped up his concert in Japan and bid a temporary goodbye to his fans.
9. T.O.P
BORN- 4th November,1987
This Big Bang member has also already enlisted on the 9th of Feb 2017. T.O.P is serving as a band agent specialist at the Seoul Metropolitan Police Department and be discharged from the military on November 8, 2018.
10. LEE MIN HO
BORN- 22nd June ,1987
Well, I know I have already done a post on Lee Min Ho's enlistment but its not gonna be enough for a fangirl . Isn't?
So, Lee joined his National army services on 12th May,2017 as a public service officer in Gangnam office, Seoul due to his thigh and ankle injury from his life threatening accident in 2006. He was last seen in the hit drama "Legend of the Blue Sea" .
